Receivership
BGP’s principals, Brad Blake and Brad Griggs, have experience as receivers having worked with several major banks and loan servicers including Wells Fargo, Bank of America and Mechanics Bank. BGP’s principals have acted as a receiver for office buildings and shopping centers across multiple geographic locations. BGP understands what the courts, lenders and servicers require to protect the physical asset, secure cashflow and execute the business plan for the asset. BGP’s team has decades of experience in asset management, leasing, property management, construction and accounting. BGP has the required bonding capacity required by the courts.
Workouts
BGP Advisors works collaboratively with lenders’ and investors’ teams to help its clients with resolving problems with defaulted or foreclosed debt, misaligned capital stacks, under-performing assets, completing construction, securing entitlements, and dispositions. BGP Advisors’ team has extensive experience as an owner, investor, developer, lender, construction manager, and asset manager of multiple product types including: mixed-use; office; shopping centers/malls; multi-family, hotels and single-family residential. In the current environment BGP Advisors’ team can help lenders and owners evaluate re-positioning/re-purposing of office buildings, conversion of shopping centers to mixed-use and optimizing hotel operations and design.
