BLAKE | GRIGGS PROPERTIES

Mitch Speigle

Managing Director of Capital Formation

Mitch Speigle is the Managing Director of Capital Formation at Blake|Griggs, where he works with family offices, RIAs, and high-net-worth investors to deploy capital in supply-constrained and highly regulated real estate markets across California and the Western U.S. The most compelling opportunities demand more than capital – they require regulatory fluency, deep relationships, and the expertise to execute where others cannot.

Over his career, Mitch has helped family offices, RIAs, and private investors deploy over $150 million into real estate developments and value-add properties alongside a team that has participated in $4.8 billion in development and $2.3 billion in acquisitions and sales transactions.

A published contributor to RENT Magazine, the San Mateo Daily Journal, and other publications, Mitch is a recognized authority on land use and housing policy. He serves as Chair of Government Affairs for the San Mateo County Association of Realtors and is a two-time SAMCAR Government Affairs Champion of the Year.

He also chairs the San Mateo Elks Veterans Commission, where the organization has furnished more than 500 homes for previously homeless veterans and contributed over $150,000 to veteran initiatives. Mitch completed his undergraduate degree in Wisconsin before finishing graduate school at Santa Clara University and currently lives in San Mateo, California.
